Country Musician Declares War

BRING IT OWN, KOWBOI!
Posted by: HoboHomo (Zeke Krahlin) on Nov 28, 2008 2:48 PM

This dumbed-down piece of musical trash is but the first salvo of declaration of war by Xian bigots against the rest of Amerikkka...and the world. Patriotism and fundamentalism are in perfect fusion now, so you can't tell one from the other. Amerikkkanism or KristoFascism: what's the diff?

No doubt these racist/homophobic/misogyn ist goons are really pissed right now, over the defeat of McCain and Palin. But this fusing of Kristian Zionism with Amerikkkan patriotism has been cultivated for many decades now, starting with Prez Raygun.

So, if anyone is surprised at this NaziAmerikkkan bully outcome, I can only say: "From which planet did you just arrive?"

--(I break out into war song:)

Civil war is on the way,
with gay marriage in the fray.
Both left and right
will start the fight,
by claiming queers have caused
this plight.
Their eyes will bulge,
their voice will sing:
"Homos are to blame for every-
thing!"

But once the war has faded 'way,
dust settled to reveal a
New Day,
we'll see the entire planet has gone

totally, irrevocably, irresistably, unerroneously, indefatigably, indisputably, and unswervingly

gay!

--(end of my war song, for the nonce.)

AS a modern-day gay activist and visionary, I foresaw this civil war triggered by homophobic dogma, over ten years ago, and warned our community and allies to prepare...via Usenet, my web site, my blog, and various message boards. Want proof of my claims? See:

In all due respect to the Gay Community, I'm confused.

I thought Toby boy WAS a fairy. Mind you, not a very bright one and the rare exception to the rule.

Oh well. We all know he's an idiot. Just websearch the many blogs. Then too, he may be a shining idol to inbred idiots everywhere.

{{ I thought Toby boy WAS a fairy. }}

He may very well be...but if he is, he's the kind of fairy that struts the macho strut and would punch anyone who even suggests he's queer. Such closeted personnas have an ignoble history of tyranny and violence.

I might add here that "Toby Keith" is a VERY gay monicker, IMHO.

Here are some quotes about him from Wikipedia:

Keith considers himself "a conservative Democrat who is sometimes embarrassed for his party."[5] He endorsed the re-election of President George W. Bush in 2004 and performed at a Dallas, Texas, rally on the night before the election....

Keith had a public feud with the Dixie Chicks over the song "Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue", as well as over comments they made about President George W. Bush on stage during a concert in London. The lead singer of the Dixie Chicks, Natalie Maines, publicly stated that Keith's song was "ignorant, and it makes country music sound ignorant."

Mr. Keith is also quoted as saying:

I don't apologize for being patriotic... If there is something socially incorrect about being patriotic and supporting your troops, then they can kiss my ass on that, because I'm not going to budge on that at all. And that has nothing to do with politics. Politics is what's killing America.

That right there should raise the red flag in progressive circles, for as everyone knows, "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel".

For it is patriotic fervor mounting to religious zealotry--along with political corruption--that is destroying this nation. But since we're headed the same direction as was Nazi Germany, perhaps this is all for the best...and democracy will likely have a better chance to thrive amid a complex of smaller nations scattered throughout these North American states.

In conclusion, Mr. Keith strikes me as your basic redneck, using the guise of patriotism (along with his celebrityhood) to spread hatred and mayhem throughout our troubled land. This particular video is a very effective meme-implant [*] that will go a long way toward inciting further violence by Xian nutjobs to bash gays, women, liberals, and any other citizen who is sanely progressive. Evil memes often disguise themselves as simply harmless good fun," and infiltrate those venues that define themselves as such.

[*] Anyone who wants to learn about memes, and their power to brainwash a populace, please read my essay on this matter, as it applies to homophobia, and how to combat it via "meme wars": "Memes, Dreams and Obscene Schemes". Please note that what applies to homophobia in my essay, also applies in the broader sense to any other form of prejudice.

New Day
11.04.08 (3:30 am)   [edit]

Tom I'm thrilled to see so many HETEROS, CHURCHES and BLACKS speaking out STRONGLY on behalf of gay equality a.k.a. "the marriage issue." EXACTLY what stalwart activists like ourselves have claimed as the necessary path to victory. Don't you think that our voices over these many years have helped FOMENT such strident calls? That our analysis of WHY gay rights is of fundamental IMPORT to the human species' happiness AND survival, has finally sunk in to the Collective Conscience...a la the "Butterfly Effect"?

For if you truly believe you have something IMPORTANT to tell the world, all it takes is simple faith that your good words will eventually find ears that listen, minds that comprehend, and hearts that bind! At least, that is MY philosophy so painfully practiced. My teeth may be half gone, and the remainder well on their way to Neverland, I may be socially isolated and ignored at best, facing possible homelessness and premature disease/death due to INTENTIONAL neglect by our arrogantly corrupt gov't and medical system...but I have always kept my faith intact.

For it is only through tiresome tribulation that we are tested, and in so testing, we come to know ourselves worthwhile and even essential to the social fabric. It is this New Age I've so long dreamed about and fought for: an age where homosexuals are revered for their courage and long suffering by our hetero nemeses. I have spoken/written/posted time and time again, how VITAL is homosexual dignity towards the fulfillment of ALL people, regardless of sexual inclination. It is the ESSENCE of brotherly/sisterly love, and thus the downfall of patriarchal control whose main source of power is the threat and practice of violence as rendered by uppity males (to put it mildly).

Now, to HEAR hetero leaders of black churches grasp that most basic (yet elusive) significance behind homosexual liberation is most hopeful...indeed, incredibly UPLIFTING. And HOW they say it, how they convey this importance is so much in the fashion of how YOU, me, and a handful of other dedicated gay activists have said it FIRST, and for so many years.

I KNOW our voices have been heard...this is beyond coincidence, this is our dreams of gay liberation coming forth to blossom, thanks to our dedicated nurturing and defending our sacred garden against all intruders (no matter how frightening).

It has been--and continues to be--quite a thrill, riding the waves of cyberspace with you, my true-lavender ally, Thomas Keske. And to think our comradely relations started way back in 1997, when I discovered your bold voice on the Internet. We have yet to meet in person, but I certainly look forward to THAT great day. Seems we'll meet face-to-face FIRST via video-conference, but what-the-hey!

This message is DEFINITELY going into my blog, for inspiration is clearly guiding my keyboard. AND I'm typing from a coffeehouse...my first blog entry composed away from my humble domicile, Have netbook will travel! (Will my fantasy finally come true, of being a renegade activist on the run? Stay tooned!)

Big Plans For A Tiny PC
11.02.08 (10:48 am)   [edit]

Asus Eee PC 1000H

The following article I originally posted to NotebookReview.com under pseudonym "Pewterbot9":

It will serve as my main system at home too, considering my low income and my sense of adventure. I'll connect it to my larger LCD screen (after tossing out my ancient Win98se box), plug in a full size keyboard and mouse (maybe get a bluetooth mouse), and use an external HD and DVD-RW drive. Oh yeah, a set of good external speakers too!

I'll get a coupla USB memory sticks or SD flash cards: one for data backup, another for loading Linux!

I'll also take advantage of those free online storage services, to backup my data redundantly. AND use Google and other free services to write documents and perform other tasks that I used to do exclusively on my HD, now that I'll soon have high-speed access. The Internet IS my HD! Yay.

Using the built-in webcam and mic, I plan to videoconference w/other activists around the world, while enjoying a cuppa java; and interview folks. (I'm an activist for both gays and homeless people, and like to give them a voice on the web.)

I'd like to turn this into my own Internet radio show, if at all feasible, money-wise. Otherwise, the show won't be live, but provide a new show at least once per week, that anyone can load and play. No streaming video, as it will probably be cost prohibitive. Download mp3's is the way I'd go...and since the 'net is so fast these days for most, what's to complain about?

I have no high-speed access at home. So while at wi-fi coffeehouses or libraries, I'll download whatever videos and audios I'd like to view/hear once back home. Including news stations, favorite TV shows and Internet-based radio.

So if all goes according to plan, I'll then ditch my old analog TV and VHS box. Screw digital and high definition! I'll get it all through the Internet.

I'm still thinking through whether or not to get a new desktop system...emachines makes it so affordable! Just in case my netbook breaks, gets stolen, or suffers some other unhappy incident. At least, I'll have some sort of Internet access until it's repaired or replaced. MAYBE I'll just get a second netbook? Hmmm.

The netbook has a noble history, BTW...it all started with an MIT project to provide a cheap laptop to third-world children. On a similar and intriguing note, you may enjoy my own spin on this matter: The Parable of the Laptop Billionaire. I'm havin' FUN just contemplatin' my new netbook...and NOW I have one (FedEx just delivered it two days ago). And thanks, webmaster (or sysop or whatever), for notebookreview.com...it's been a great help to me already, in just a very short time!

A laptop for every child...and you, too!

Lovely Berkeley Halloween
11.01.08 (12:46 am)   [edit]

Well, I had such a nice time today, first at the Berkeley Library with my fabulous Asus netbook, riding the cyberwaves on wi-fi. Then closed my sub-notebook and strolled up Shattuck two blocks to Amanda's healthy-eating restaurant for a tasty veggieburger.

An enjoyable stroll towards Telegraph Avenue, where I peered into Cafe Med a moment, then walked down the street to Peet's Coffee directly across from the Shakespeare bookstore. Peet's is new...and they provide free wi-fi...big picture windows to people watch, and a great cup of hot chocolate. I watched twilight come while tapping on my elegant pearly keyboard.

Then for the evening, I meandered up College Avenue, where I stopped for some eats at Trader Joe's, including a snack of peach kefir and Snapea Crisps.

There was a nice wooden L bench on the sidewalk nearby, sheltered by a large leafy tree...as a moderate rain fell while I happily munched. You could hear the BART trains arrive and depart from the elevated tracks barely a half-block away.

Oh, almost forgot the high point of my stroll: somewhere between Telegraph and College, I came across an orderly collection of free boxes filled mostly with literature. Among those sundry works were three booklets by Julia Vinograd...ha, ha! Berkeley's Halloween gift to one of its devoted admirers. Also, I got a neat carry bag out of those boxes.

Perfect for my netbook.
