I can't believe I put off my blog posting for so many weeks! July comes
and goes. Then August, and finally, September into the final week. I
was hoping to do quality reviews of favorite websites once a week, but
the pressure was too much for this frail queer! So I'm breaking my rule
of maintaining a pristine web log, and using it as an escape valve from
gay issues.
I'll just write like a journal, my present activities, thoughts, dreams, nighmares, and paranoid delusions. Let us begin:
I'm
presently volunteering for the California Democratic Party's "Every
Vote Counts" Campaign, here in San Francisco. Two three-hour shifts 5-6
days per week. Lots of good folks, very multicultural. Go to this page
of my own website, to view the temporary headquarters for this campaign:
You
must scroll to the bottom, to view it. 'Cause it's actually a page with
pictures of our new Queer Center. "Every Vote Counts" headquarters is
attached to the Center, like a still-born Siamese twin.
Here's the link to "Jump the Shark", a fine way to fritter away some time when you need an escape:
If you don't know what this site's about, you're in for a treat.
One
more item: I'll be performing my second appearance at the Queer
Center's open mic. Another five minutes of fame...rack 'em up! It's the
Center's newest feature: the Three Dollar Bill Cafe. Here's their site:
BTW, I'm always introduced by my stage name: Jehovah's Queer Witness. Maybe I'll see ya there? Perhaps to assassinate me?
CASTLE
OF SPIRITS UPDATE: Oh, yeah, they finally resolved the gay censorship
issue, by allowing "gay" to appear in their guestbook entries. AFAIC,
they are no longer in the dog house, and are once again, hosts to my favorite ghost story site.
