An attractive shower curtain covers my "pantry" and sink area. The pantry walls (made of two solid oak doors) support my loft...and houses my refrigerator and closet, too. It's VERY sturdy, and would survive not just the worst possible earthquake imaginable...but likely a direct collision with a meteorite. (Caveat: If it's not bigger than a bread truck.)
